Ethics Statement
A famous UK advertising campaign for a paint company used the strapline ‘it does exactly what it says on the tin’.
But why mention this?
Well we're the same. You can visit our social pages, our product pages, our tutorials, videos, podcasts, infographics, articles, templates, checklists etc…etc…etc and what we say and how we say it will be the same.
NO fads, NO buzz phrases, NO flaky fakery so common online.
JUST our thoughts, words and hard won experience of creating and publishing content shared in many different ways to help other online business owners.
So - our ethics when it comes to advertising and promoting other people's products are these.
All of the software, cameras and recording equipment and products we use and review have been purchased by us. Should we be lucky enough to be given a product to use for free by a company we will always clearly mention this in any video or written content we produce.
We NEVER take part in the fake scarcity, hyped up rubbish of the affiliate launch circus.
We’ll review and recommend (or not) ONLY products that we use all the time in our business and personal life. Our reviews and recommendations are based on actual use of the things each tool has been designed to do. ‘Sponsored’ content across our sites, videos and audios is very rare. If we do choose to work with a third party company it will be because we actually use and rate their product or service or them. Any such sponsorship will be clearly flagged and/or mentioned.
We also stand by our clearly set out refund policy. Put very simply – if one of our products or services isn’t for you then provided you ask within 30 days of purchase we’ll happily give you a refund.
BUT - Try and steal our products or rip us off and equally simply - expect what you deserve in return.

All content published under our name or that of our business brands is our own. We write, edit, create and produce content in many forms based on the issues our customers share, research we undertake or just about subjects or problems we're interested in or have had to solve ourselves.
The content of this site is written by humans not by AI, so all our content is our Intellectual Property, the copyright of our company and any theft will be vigorously pursued.
While it usually makes sense to include certain links in video descriptions or social media posts, we retain full control over what is shared on our accounts across all platforms.
We appreciate when companies offer information about their products/services, but we will only include what we think is relevant and necessary. We will work to seek answers for anything about a product/service that we don’t fully understand.
Any reviews we compose and share about software, equipment and products are based on our own use, experiences and learning so we tend to share the excellent, the good and the bad as well as any suggestions for improvements we think could be made.
You may or may not agree with our opinions, ideas or thoughts. With billions of us on the planet, each with their own ideas and experiences - that’s fine by us. Please just be polite and professional if you feel like sharing back.
Thank you for taking the time to read and understand our Ethics Statement. This probably doesn’t cover every possible scenario under the sun, but it should give you a pretty solid idea of how highly we value the integrity behind what we do and the relationship with our clients and community.
We just want to keep having fun making training programs and publishing helpful content, and that disappears without these guidelines. If you’re a content creator, please feel free to take this Ethics Statement and make use of it to make your own!
